Accessibility Statement
LAST UPDATED: MAY 27, 2026
Portmux Data Co. is committed to making our website usable by as many people as possible, including people with disabilities. We treat accessibility as part of the quality bar for the Site, not an afterthought.
Our conformance target
We aim to substantially conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, published by the W3C. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with a wide range of disabilities, including visual, auditory, physical, speech, cognitive, language, learning, and neurological disabilities.
What we do
- Build with semantic HTML so screen readers and assistive technologies can navigate the structure.
- Maintain sufficient color contrast for body text and interactive elements against our cream background.
- Ensure interactive elements are reachable and operable with a keyboard alone.
- Provide meaningful link text and alt attributes for non-decorative images.
- Avoid time-based content that auto-advances without controls, and avoid content that flashes more than three times per second.
- Use responsive layouts so the Site is usable at common zoom levels and on small screens.
Known limitations
We are a small team and the Site is under active development. Known areas where conformance may not yet be perfect include:
- Some marketing graphics and SVG illustrations may lack descriptive long-text alternatives where the surrounding copy already conveys the meaning.
- The cookie-consent banner and contact-form interactions are continuously reviewed; please report any issue you encounter.
- Third-party embeds (where used) are subject to their providers' accessibility implementations, which we do not control.
Report an accessibility issue
If you encounter a barrier on portmux.com, we want to know. Please email Ryan@untappedconnections.com or call 913-755-8164, and include:
- The URL where you encountered the issue.
- A brief description of the issue.
- The assistive technology, browser, and device you were using (if applicable).
We aim to acknowledge accessibility reports within five business days and to provide a meaningful response within thirty days.
Alternative access
If any part of the Site is not accessible to you, we are happy to provide the same information by email, phone, or a scheduled call. Use the contact details above and we will respond promptly.
Formal complaints
If you have concerns we have not resolved, you may file a complaint with the relevant disability-rights authority in your jurisdiction. We will cooperate in good faith with any such review.
